Glacier National Park
It doesn't matter if you're a ski enthusiast, trail hiker, train lover, one with nature or just want to relax in a setting of unparalleled beauty, booking a rail trip to Glacier National Park in Montana could be just the ticket. Luxury Rail Travel can arrange a private car trip from any east coast city or Chicago to Glacier National Park for you and your guests aboard luxurious privately owned rail cars.
All your needs will be attended to as you're whisked along the route of the Empire Builder in safety and comfort aboard well appointed rail cars. Our staff Porters and Chefs are on call 24/7 to provide service not usually found on the rails.
We at Luxury Rail Travel will arrange your trip to your specifications and recommend rail cars that provide comfortable sleeping arrangements in Sections, Roomettes or full Bedrooms for the night portion of the trips and comfortable lounge space for day use and food service. We handle all the work so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Your trip begins as you step aboard your private passenger cars at most east coast stations such as New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC or many others. No security lines, no traffic jams, just the peace and quiet of the rails.
You'll then be overnighted to Chicago, Il and have half a day with which to explore Chicago either on your own, or we can set up a tour of the highlights of the Windy City. Once back onboard the cars, you'll dine as we head further west, watching the sun set over hills and river valleys. With dinner over, you'll find your sleeping quarters transformed from a comfortable place to sit and watch the world fly by into a sleeping space built for relaxation and a good night's sleep.
In the morning, you'll awaken to the smell of fresh food being prepared in the kitchen and when you look out the window, you'll see the scenery has changed in a big way! As we head west, the landscape gets more and more rugged and the flat scrub land of eastern Montana and the Dakotas gives way to the ragged peaks and rushing rivers of western Montana. This is where we drop you off at the Izaak Walton Inn.
